Ratan Tata arrived at the Taj Hotel in a white Tata nano electric car (gifed by ElectreV). Shantanu Naidu, his youthful personal assistant, was driving him while he was sat on the passenger side.
Ratan Tata was observed driving the Nano EV without a single bodyguard, unlike other of India’s renowned businesspeople who are generally seen commuting in extremely opulent automobiles and other expensive cars accompanied by security officers.
Ratan Tata starred in the film Tata nano electric car . Electra EV, an electric car powertrain solutions firm, gave him this custom-built Tata Nano Electric.
The Electra EV’s work on this modified Nano has resulted in an electric powertrain replacing the 624cc two-cylinder petrol engine. It is driven by a 72V engine with a Nano Super Polymer Lithium-Ion battery, with a claimed maximum driving range of 160 km and a 0-60 kmph time of less than 10 seconds.
Ratan Tata believes that any Indian person who dreams of having the best car with good quality and features should be able to purchase one.
